Our sweet corn is all hand harvested which prevents bruising on the ear as well as allowing us to closely inspect each ear before it is put on the wagon for sale. Some of our competitors mechanically harvest their corn which produces a much higher rate of damage to the ear inside the husk.

The Corn Dog, Sweet Corn is grown in Fowlerville, Michigan on the very same land that my Grandfather, James McGuire, farmed with horses dating back to the 1940’s. We continually sample this soil to make sure it maintains the proper ph and fertility levels to produce the finest tasting sweet corn possible. Planting begins early in the spring to get the sweet corn to mature as quickly as possible.
